Baptism in the name of the;
Father, Son and Holy Ghost:
Baptizing in His name; The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost;
What is his name?
Who is the Father, Who is the Son, Who is the Holy Spirit, or Ghost? Jesus Christ!
(Do not forget who is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?) = Jesus Christ is God!
(Do not forget who is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?) = Jesus Christ is God!
Jesus Christ is the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Water Baptism = Is a public confession of faith and discipleship; and might make you official part of a church:
*Water Baptism signifies = nothing cause:
*Only confession with your mouth and believing in your heart that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and that Jesus Christ is God; will and can make a difference:
(Rom 10:9 - 10)
9. That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
*It was a cleansing or washing of the soul from sin;(Old Testament only)(Water Baptism dose not save)
(Water Baptism dose not cleans or wash your soul or your sins)
Water baptism will not and can not save anyone!
We have to be baptized into Jesus Christ his word; Jesus is the Word:
John Chapter 1: verses 1 to 3
1.In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2. The same was in the beginning with God.
3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
*This happens when when we get saved; (born again) and as we become displays; by learning His word. It is a process:
When we get born again our old carnal man that use to be gets crucified to the cross and dies. We are baptized into the death of Jesus Christ. That old man of the flesh; no longer has anything to do with our new identity in Christ!
Jesus had to be baptized in water because he was a High Priest: (Old Testament)
In the old testament the High Priest had to be washed, be cleansed with water before he could enter the Holy of Holies (Leviticus Chapter 16:24)
The command to baptize was co-extensive with the command to preach the gospel.
All nations were to be evangelized; and they were to be made disciples, baptism is a washing.
And he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the people.
(Matthew Chapter 28:19 And 20)
19.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
This baptizing is submerging into Jesus Christ;
His word; and make displays: Process; Teaching:
20.Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Teaching them; making a display. Salvation is a process; It is a work: As we learn more of his word in our heart, we become more like Jesus Christ:
The command to baptize was co-extensive with the command to preach the gospel.
All nations were to be evangelized; and they were to be made disciples, baptism is a washing.
(Matthew 28:19)
It appears to have been a kind of transition from the Jewish baptism to the Christian.

John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
This water baptism was the start of the ministry of Jesus: The Holy Spirit came upon Jesus
(not in Jesus) after He was water baptized:
In the Old Testament the Holy Spirit came on a person but He would leave a person if they disobeyed God:
John the Baptist was the first only person to have the Holy Spirit in Him; and in Him at birth:
Luke Chapter 1: 13-17
13. But the angel said to him, Fear not, Zacharias: because your supplication is heard, and your wife Elisabeth shall bear you a son, and you will call his name John.
14. And you will have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
15. For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and he shall drink no wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.
16. And many of the children of Israel shall be turn to the Lord their God.
17. And he shall go before his face in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to walk in the wisdom of the just; to make ready for the Lord a people prepared for him.

Jesus said that once He was raisin from the dead, and sitting at the Fathers right hand He would send the promise of the Father; The Holy Spirit that would now be in you;

John Chapter 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father.
Wow = Greater Works! What could Jesus not do? He could not fill people with the Holy Spirit until He was sitting at the Fathers right hand: Then Jesus could send the Holy Ghost or Spirit:
Filling people with the Holy Spirit is greater then what Jesus did.
(Signs Wonders and Miracles we can do what Jesus did and greater because Jesus is sitting at the Father's right hand; Now Jesus could send the Holy Spirit; Now we can be filled and we are able to fill other believers with the Holy Spirit, and power;
That power is being able to pray in the Spirit;
(pray in tongues)
Acts 18: 24-26
24. And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.
25. This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spoke and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.
26. And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him to them, and expounded to him the way of God more perfectly.

Acts 19: 1-6
1. And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
2. He said to them; Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed? And they said to him;

We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
(These certain disciples all asked Jesus in their hearts; they were born again, but they had not heard of the Holy Spirit; and many born again believers today lack knowledge of the Holy Ghost; or they have the wrong knowledge of the baptism of the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues.)
3. And he said to them; To what then were you baptized? And they said, To John's baptism.
4. Then said Paul, John truly baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying to the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
5. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6. And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spoke with tongues, and prophesied.
(Jude 1:20)
But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
